Dusk first, under the trees. Understory Mist keeps the fog and lifts the blacks. Bark Lichen tunes the sharpening to the fibre. Dark Wood recovers the figure in timber by lifting the shadows and pulling orange to brown. Macro Petal steers each flower's hue and holds the translucent petals; Macro Thin carries the sharp sliver with texture. River Stone keeps the foam and the pools off navy; Waterfall Silk keeps the long exposure off the ceiling. Garden Bench, Glasshouse Damp and Terrace Green take the cultivated green: honest, humid, and off yellow.

The animals, by name. Bird Feather grades plumage per colour family with the background left alone. Wingbeat Sky drops the blue and opens the underwing. Fur Coat opens dark pelts and holds the coat colour per species. Insect Shell handles iridescence by band. Savannah Dust warms the grit and lifts the coats in orange. Enclosure Glass cuts the veil of the zoo window and takes the keeper light out.

Then the water. Beach Noon keeps sand white and the sea an honest turquoise. Cliff Haze keeps the coastal haze rather than fighting it. Harbour Dawn holds blue in the shadows while the first warm light lands on the highlights. Hull Water handles paint and sea in their own bands. Reef Water lifts the red back through the curve underwater. And the dark: Blue Hour City with the first lamps warming, Night Ambient under one domestic source, Sodium Street cooled to near mono, Night Sky as the wide-field baseline, Milky Way Core with the dust lanes by texture, Star Trail with the stack cast removed, Meteor Watch with the streak held, Deep Sky with the black point exact, Lunar Detail with the crater texture up and the colour pulled neutral.

Why I Make These

I am Netzah Elad Topaz. I take photographs and I build software, and the two keep leading me back to the same problem. You were there. The light was doing something you will not see again. Then the photo comes back flat, and it is not what you were looking at.

Closing that gap is the whole job. Every preset here is built from Adobe defaults by hand, with a written note for what it should do to a picture, and it is judged on real photographs before it ships. Nothing is a filter dropped on top of your work.

What I want is simple. You open a photo you almost gave up on, you tap once, and there it is: the day you remember, not the file your camera handed you. That is worth doing properly.

Do the astro presets need a tracked or stacked file?

Deep Sky and Star Trail are finishing passes for a stack. The others, Night Sky, Milky Way Core, Meteor Watch and Lunar Detail, work on a single raw. All of them hold the black point and add nothing that was not in the frame.

Is this one download or several?

One ZIP, with every collection in its own folder. Import them all, or only the ones you use.

Do these work in the free Lightroom app?

Yes. Import the .xmp files in the free Lightroom app on iPhone or Android, no subscription needed. They also work in Lightroom Classic and Lightroom on desktop.

What exactly do I get?
